Who is BDS Group Inc?

BDS Group is the primary facilitator for our lending partners and act on their behalf in guiding you through the contractual process. We ensure the necessary criteria is obtained and submitted to provide the greatest chance of securing an approval. Essentially, we make the application process smoother and more efficient for all involved.

What are the requirements to submit an application through BDS?

In order to apply, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
 • Have a steady income of at least $1,000 per month
 • Have an active checking account with a brick and mortar bank
 • Have a valid email address/phone number

Note: Meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee approval with our lenders.

IMPORTANT:

We are not a direct lender.    All documentation does not originate with BDS but our lender partners.  We act on their behalf to guide you through the lending process to make sure your repayment process is smooth and efficient.

Is the BDS Program a loan?

What is meant by "Lease To Own"?

Accepted Answer

A Lease To Own is a form of lease where you rent the merchandise through one of BDS' lending partners for a designated period. Depending on the program in your state, the term is 12, 16, 18, or 24 months. After which, you gain ownership of the merchandise. You may also pay off the lease and gain ownership at any time.

Do any BDS lending partners charge interest on a lease-purchase agreement?

No, BDS' lending partners do not charge interest on a lease-purchase agreement. However, there is still a cost of lease in addition to the BDS Merchant Fee. The amount of this cost varies by customer and residential state, and it will be detailed in your lease agreement and disclosures. The BDS Merchant Fee amount varies and is determined by the total amount of the repair order. Be sure to read and understand your documents before you sign, and understand the important dates, amounts, and terms unique to your agreement.

How do we use your personal information?

BDS will communicate with you via phone, email, and text message for the purpose of instruction and direction on finalizing your contract documents with our lender.  We do not send any text messages or emails without an applicaton being submitted and your explicit approval.

Will BDS share your personal information?

BDS WILL NEVER share your personal information with any 3rd party affiliates nor will we sell your personal information.

Can I opt out of receiving phone calls, emails, and text messages?

Accepted Answer

Yes, simply reply STOP and BDS will remove you from all future correspondence.

Will submitting an application affect my credit score?

Accepted Answer

No, submitting an application  will not affect your credit score.

Question 11

Can I still be approved if I have bad credit?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All BDS' lending partners do not rely on standard credit score, but use a proprietary approval process that gives you the best chance of being approved. They specialize in financing those who have bad credit, no credit, bankruptcy, or other challenges with their credit.

If I sign a lease-purchase agreement, how much do I have to pay today?

Accepted Answer

There may be a processing fee or initial payment due the day you complete your transaction. This amount varies. Check your BDS Disclosure/Invoice and your lease agreement for specifics.

Can I use the BDS Program along with another finance source to pay for my purchase/repairs?

No, it is against BDS policy to use the BDS Program with another source on the same vehicle. One loan...one vehicle.

Who will warranty my tires or repairs?

All warranty concerns are handled by your local dealership.

How our Service works.

1. Submit an application

By clicking the “Apply Now” button on the home page or menu, you are sent to the Pre-App portion of the application. Once the Pre-App is completed, you will be redirected to our lender application and will receive an approval or denial within seconds of completion. You can use the approved amount for repairs or to purchase accessories at the dealership.

2.  Schedule an appointment

Once approved BDS will contact the Dealership’s service advisor on your behalf with your approval to notify them of your approval amount and to ask the service advisor to forward a copy of your estimate to BDS.

3. Disclosure/Invoice/Approval

BDS will send the Disclosure/Invoice to your email for electronic signature, which includes the following information:

• The dealership's itemized quote.
 • Any applicable down payment and/or initial payment.
 • BDS Merchant Fee (details can be found in the FAQ section)
 • If accepted, click the “Approved” button to complete

4.  Contract Signing

Upon your approval, you will receive an email with a copy of the contract along with instructions to electronically sign it.

5.  Payment Authorization

After the contract is signed, BDS notifies the Service Advisor that you have signed your contract and gives the authorization for payment. Once the work is completed, and the vehicle is ready for pick up; BDS will pay the dealership the authorized amount.
